Privacy Notice

Last updated: 1 October 2026

1. Controller

EntryPoint Switzerland GmbH

Email: info@entrypoint.ch

2. Scope

This Privacy Notice explains how EntryPoint Switzerland GmbH processes personal data when you visit this website, contact us, book an introductory call, request the guide or otherwise communicate with us. Swiss data protection law applies. Where the EU or UK GDPR applies to a specific processing activity, the relevant additional requirements also apply.

3. Data we process and why

Website use and server logs

When you visit the website, technical data may be recorded automatically, including IP address, date and time, requested page, referring page, browser, device and operating system. We use this data to provide the website, maintain security, diagnose faults and understand aggregate use.

Enquiries and introductory calls

If you submit a form, send an email or book a call, we process the details you provide, such as your name, company, business contact details, country, service interest and message. We use the data to assess and respond to your enquiry, arrange the call and manage related communication.

Guide delivery and insights

If you request “Doing Business in Switzerland”, we use your name, company, business email and language selection to provide the guide. We send marketing emails only if you give separate, voluntary consent. You may withdraw that consent at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.

WhatsApp Business

If you contact us through WhatsApp Business, your message and contact details are processed by EntryPoint and by the WhatsApp service provider under its own terms. Do not send confidential documents, identification documents or sensitive personal data through WhatsApp.

Mandate and business administration

If we discuss or enter into a mandate, we may process business contact details, due-diligence information, correspondence, contracts, billing data and project records to prepare, perform and administer the engagement and to comply with legal obligations.

4. Legal grounds

Depending on the activity and applicable law, processing is based on steps requested before a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests in operating and protecting our business and website, or your consent. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it for the future at any time.

5. Service providers and recipients

We may use providers for website hosting, email, appointment scheduling, forms, document delivery, customer relationship management, analytics, IT support, accounting and professional advice. Providers receive only the data needed for their task and are required to protect it.

6. Specialist partners

Where your enquiry or mandate requires specialist support, and where appropriate, we may share relevant information with selected legal, tax, fiduciary, notarial, domiciliation or other professional partners. We will do so within the agreed scope and subject to applicable confidentiality and data-protection requirements.

7. Data transfers abroad

Some service providers may process data outside Switzerland. Where the destination does not provide an adequate level of protection, we use recognised safeguards, such as appropriate contractual clauses, or rely on another permitted basis. We also assess supplementary measures where required.

8. Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as needed for the relevant purpose, to protect legitimate business interests and to meet legal retention duties. Enquiry data that does not lead to a mandate is normally deleted or anonymised after three years, unless continued retention is justified. Contract, accounting and project records are retained for the applicable statutory period.

9. Security

We use appropriate organisational and technical measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

10. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request information about your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, restriction or objection, data portability where available, and withdrawal of consent. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection authority. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

11. Cookies and analytics

The website may use necessary cookies and, only where activated, preference, analytics or marketing technologies. Non-essential technologies are not activated before consent where consent is required. You can change your choices at any time through “Cookie settings”. See the Cookie Notice for details.

12. Automated decisions

We do not use solely automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects in relation to website enquiries.

13. Changes

We may update this Privacy Notice when our services, website tools or legal requirements change. The current version is published on this page.
